This sounds like a special deal for that group arranged by their TA. My guess is that folks were given the option of buying drink vouchers at a certain rate and that somehow the TA squared this with the ship. The only "drink cards" I've seen are those soft drink cards (no cans just fountain drinks and only one drink per person per card at a time). These have been escalating in price (maybe because the lines have realized that one family member buys a card and others take turns using it or maybe the cost of Coke has skyrocketed). :wavePost Edited (02-16-04 22:50)
