I have found out that RCCL/Celebrity's policy is to issue these kind of docs if a cruise is booked within 21 days of sailing. Since I didn't do this, I went back to Cruisequick.com and asked for real documents - they are exclusively e-docs and won't sent the real thing. Others have told me that a TA can request the docs, but there is a charge of $35.00 for issuing and handling. They also said that RCCL/Celebrity is headed in the direction of e-docs as a rule - not the exception. I have no problem filling out the info that they want prior to the cruise on line and I really have no problem with e-docs - but I do have a problem with no luggage tags. It can be a real nightmare when you unload at the pier (especially if you come on a bus the way we usually do) and then have to claim the bags, get the porter, have him issue the tags, be sure they are correct. I guess this is the way things are going - but I find it to be cheap, cheap, cheap!
