I haven't been on the "Star" but if they have an internet cafe as does the "Wind" you can access your e-mail sent to your home by using: www.mail2web.com. You will have to purchase computer time when you get on the ship. I believe I paid $55 for 100 minutes on the Wind last November. You can also have e-mail sent to the ship if you wish. Norwegian will automatically assign you an e-mail address but I found using my home e-mail and using "mail2web.com" much more convenient.
