Hey - we are also cruising on 8/18 from barcelona to venice - on ruby princess. Trying to get some planning ideas from past/present travellers on the ports of call. i.e. best way to get excusrsions i.e. hire a cab to take us to places such as florence/pisa etc... We paired up with another family on our last cruise and really made travel/sightseeing very cost efficient.
