We have a few questions regarding Carnival sponsored excursions and are hoping someone can help us out. If you have a suggestion on who to use besides Carnival, let us know that too. Thanks!

Nassau ...
"Snorkel With Stingrays at Blue Lagoon" - Any good? Much time actually spend in water with the stingrays?

St. Thomas ...
"Buck Island Sail & Snorkel" - Any good? Crowded? Nice sailboat?

"Island & Catamaran Sailing Experience" - Much time actually sailing? Do you recommend it?

"Sailing the Virgins to Buck Island" - Sound really good. Is it?

Thanks again for any and all input!

Bradley and Rebecca,
Our Eastern Cruise is on Oct 18th on the Glory, so I don't have any answers for you however I would like to know the answers too.
I posted asking if anyone had a copy of the stuff they give you on the ship about the excursions and a wonderful woman sent me a copy of all the stuff WITH descriptions and prices. If you would like I can forward them to you or anyone else who would like the copy.

I have been to Blue Lagoon on the Carnival tour, but I booked it without the Stingray tour, since it cost more. We walked, however, to Stingray City, and watched the people get into the enclosed area to swim with the stingrays. I don't know how much time you get, but the area seemed small and very crowded with snorklers. I am not sure it's worth paying a whole lot extra. We did enjoy Blue Lagoon itself, like a small paradise, and a tour definitly worth taking. The other thing to do in Nassau is visit the Hotel Atlantis, which you can do on your own, much cheaper than the ship tour.
