Eastern Carribean Island question

Does anyone have an opinion on eating or drinking alcohol on any of the Eastern Carribean Islands? I know you shouldn't drink the water, but I wondered if anyone has gotten sick after being on any of the islands. I wonder how clean the restarants are, and some excursions that offer food? Thanks for any input.

Never had a problem. I have spent a week at a time on St Thomas and St Martin as well as Aruba. Also visited most of the islands on cruise ships and never had a problem.

I did get kind of sick, from drinking too much RUM punch in St. Thomas. :lol :lol :lol
