Egypt, Israel Suggestions

Nov.15, Grand Princess. Will be going to Egypt and Israel. Anyone taken any of the Princess excursions there or have any suggestions. Also Greece, Turkey, and Italy. We are Platinum members and have cruised quite a bit on Princess (100+ day at sea) and have never been disappointed.

Have not done this itinerary on Princess (my favorite line and I'm just shy of 500 days) but did on Celebrity.

Unfortunately, after booking, Israel was cancelled.

We did get to Egypt...

I would definitely do a ships excurision, when we did it, met a group of people who found tours with an independent company cheaper, but their english speaking guide left them in Cairo with a driver who had no english at all.

Did the tour that included the pyramids, sphinx, King Tut/Cairo mueseum, lunch on the nile and shopping. Had an english speaking guard, guide and bus driver.
