I did this cruise last November and it was probably one of the cheapest vacations I've ever taken!  Not much to do in Grand Turk at the port, but I've heard the Blackbeard Pirate excursion was excellent and worth the money.  In Nassau, we shopped a little bit, then took a $6 water taxi over to Atlantis and the beach.  When I found out there was "nothing to do" on Half Moon Cay, I thought, "Oh great.  That'll be a wasted day."  Let me tell you, it was one of the BEST days I've ever had!  First of all, we did book an excursion for HMC, the ocean kayak adventure, on the second day of the cruise and there were only three other couples on that.  It was great; our guide helped us find sea cucumbers and sea stars (which we were able to "pet") and he brought food for us to attract and feed tropical fish.  The rest of the day, we just got in that beautiful water and lay on the beach.  The sand there is finer than sugar!  They did have a bar and a water park, but it was such a nice change of pace from running around shopping and racing to tourist attractions like we've done at previous ports of call.  This destination is such a treasure and was the highlight of our cruise.  Enjoy!
