Elation 10/19 Sports fans?

THis will be our first cruise. Somehow my wife talked me into going on the cruise although this is the USC vs Notre Dame football game that weekend. I asked Carnival if they had NBC coverage while at sea (california / Mexico coast) and they were non-commital with their answer.

So question #1) Does anyone know if NBC reception is an issue for a cruise liner along the Baja California Coast?

Question #2) If the game is viewable, is there any College football fans on this cruise planning to watch the game?

P.S. My only consolidation for this issue is that Notre Dame is weak this year.

There were a few "regular" TV stations available. I think I remember CBS, FOX, TNT. Not sure about NBC. On Sunday, I did see a football game on in one of the bars.
