We have a September 10 cruise booked on the Elation. It will be our second time on the ship and our second cruise out of Mobile. Our first cruise on the ship was in 2000 out of San Pedro, CA. Rita is allergic to smoke and we do not remember any issues with smoking on the ship.Our first cruise out of Mobile was on a sister ship, the Fantasy. We like to dance and the problem we had on the Fantasy was all the lounges had smoking. We tried to get a table near the entrances where it was not as bad. We are hoping the Elation is not as smoky as the Fantasy was.Incidentally for those who are not aware, Carnival is moving the Elation to New Orleans in October. Mobile will no longer have a cruise ship!
