Electric connections in South America

We will be going on the HAL Veendam SA Tour on 21 Dec and will have a lay over at the Sheraton Hotel in Santiago, Chile.

My wife is on Oxygen 24/7 and we will be bringing our own Oxygen concentrator.

Can any one tell me about the electric connections in Chile and Rio de Janeiro? I will need a plug in the Hotel in Santiago and at the Airport in Rio.

Are the wall plugs the same as those in the USA?
Is their power 220 or 110 volts?
I have a connector kit that I bought when we went to Spain. I only hope one of the plugs I have will fit their socket.

TIA,
Charlie

Brazil is 110 but it will be Chili tomorrow........................

Chili is on 220

as far as connectors check this page out, if you have both the American flat pronged and the European round pin type plus a converter from 220 to 110 you should be in pretty good shape.
