Hi there ... ok ... I am not sure if I asked this question before or not and if I did am sorry for repeating my self ...

What is the best time to get to Port Canaveral ... While reading review I am getting a really mixed impression so I would like to hear your thoughts ...

Thanks for taking the time to respond ...

I usually try to arrive around 10:30 AM. The rush of the passenger disembarking is usually gone, and the rush of embarkation has not yet started. This will put you close to the front of the check-in line, and you can be one of the first on board, and have a chance to relax and enjoy lunch and check out the ship without much hassle or worry. Your cruise just last a little longer.

I love to people watch, and this is a perfect time.

I have even left the ship after lunch to do some last minute shopping before departure.

We boarded Fantasy at approx 11am. Once you get onboard you can explore the ship before the masses arrive. And then go have lunch :)

As far as I am concerned the earlier you can get on the ship the better and that way you have plenty of time to check the ship out and find your way around(believe me that can be difficult on some of these ships). I would NEVER do this last minute thing to get there within minutes of the ship pulling out. I guess some people like to walk on the dangerous side and also when they arrange their flight back home to??Why do people do that, why not just give your selves lots of time for unexpected things??We are sort of like the "bad news" cruisers anyway and if it can happen it will happen while we are there?
