Emerald Princess vs. Eurodam??

Hello All,

I am deciding between several options for a cruise in January 2010. I am deciding between the Emerald Princess and the Eurodam. My boyfriend and I will be traveling and we are 22 and 24. I am not looking for anything wild and crazy, and I have been unhappy with Carnival and Norwegian in the past. Does anyone have an suggestions either way? I have been reading all kinds of reviews on each, but I still can't make a decision! Also, one thingdrawing me to Eurodam is the cabanas for rent. Does anyone have experience with them or feel they are worth the money? Thanks in advance!

Generally; Emerald princess is exceptionally nice ship, very well layed out, and princess is SOOOO organized it makes cruising a no worries event. Also generally, I find the "dam" ships boring. At your age, I'd definitely go with Emerald Princess.

The Holland America experience is very good but if I were your age I would prefer Princess. The Emerald Princess is a beautiful ship.

Princess offers clamshells on beach day at Princess Cays or you can do a Bungalow...both of these incur a cost and the Bungalows are very expensive though you might find others willing to share the cost with you....the bungalows accommodate up to six people. The Emerald also has and adult only area on the ship called the Sanctuary (another extra cost area) that offers a very pleasant experience if you are so inclined.

You might also want to consider a Royal Caribbean cruise.

Have fun planning!
