Nope, what else are you going to do during those 15 minutes, every public area is closed and my stateroom attendant has always entered my room while we are putting our life jackets on to make sure we have left.

The last cruise we were on the muster drill lasted longer than normal because a group of people didn't want to participate. Everything on board closes down and the attendants check every cabin and every public place to make sure everyone is participating. If you try and not participate you will only hold things up so I recommend everyone participate as fast as they can so we can all get back to having fun.

I have always participated... was just wondering if someone had been, well.... creative.... I don't mind them, by then I usually have a pretty good 'welcome aboard' buzz going.
