2/24/06-2/27/06...Just got back from a weekend getaway cruise on this ship...third cruise in six months. I would not recommend this cruise for multiple reasons: 1) If you are Spanish-speaking, you will love it, but if you do not you will feel out of place on this cruise and very alone; 2) If you are looking for value for your money, stay in San Juan for the weekend, which is where the cruise originates; 3) If you are looking for quality food, pack a lunch; 4) If you are looking for cleanliness, pack your mop and bucket as well as clean sheets; and lastly, 5) If you think this cruise is cheap, you guessed right. This will be my last cruise on RCCL ships. As an added note, this cruise is as close to sleeping with someone else without them being in the same room with you. The walls must be paper thin as I could plainly hear the person in the next stateroom snoring all night long. I don't think the ship has stabilizing bars either. If you like to rock and roll, this is the ship for you.

Sorry you had a bad experience. EOS is an older ship & smaller than RCCL's other ships, but I have fond memories of my cruise on her. It was my first cruise in Nov. 1995, & actually was the start of my love affairs with cruises. She was named the Nordic empress then. We have such fond memories of her we are thinking of booking the 11 day caribbean cruise on her. Hope your next cruise experience is much more enjoyable.
