Empress or Main deck?

Hi my husband and I our crusing on the Inspiration in April and since prices has decreased since we booked the cruise I contacted my PVP to see what they could do for me. They asked if I wanted a upgrade to the Empress deck as we are booked on Main. My question is whether their is a lot of noise on the Empress deck from the deck above? And which deck would you prefer to be on if you were in my situation? We are now booked towards the middle of Main so but if we did decide to move and if they didn't have rooms towards the middle which would be better the front or the back of the ship? Motion sickness is a concern.

Also.... Are rooms by the elevators extremely noisy?

Thanks

Susan

Epress deck is under the dining room. galley. What cabins are available to you? Right now you are located midship. good location I think. Is it worth it to you to be moved further forward???

Whats wrong with the Upper deck? i like the Main or the Upper deck. your cabin will be between two decks of cabins-not public places.

The cabins by the eleavators are not noisy- the elevators are located in banks. that means they are located in their own area. On deck plans some cabins look like they are directly across the hall from the elvators in reality you have to go around the wall.. to get in them

They are offering an upgrade to me in loo of a ship board credit for change of price. The only rooms available on the Empress is 17-19 and 240 and others at back of ship. I think I am just going to try again for the ship board credit.

Well I like Empress deck because that's where you get on and off the ship. No need to haul your luggage thru the elevator to get out.

Talked with a supervisor and they are past the time of offering ship board credits but did offer me an upgrade to room E180 and we decided to go ahead and take it. It is closer to the back of the ship then where we had originally booked on Main M94 but I think it will be ok. Hopefully. *crosses fingers*

I was in E 188 last week. I had no troubles with the room. No Noise and didnt notice any more motion than the rest of the ship had. Also was fairly close to the the elevators and didnt hear a peep.

I had a cabin adjacent to the elevators, one cabin down, and heard nothing at all except occasional talking from passengers. I also had a cabin that was next door to elevators, and still no noise from the elevator itself. I was pleasantly surprised.

I've had cabins on Main, Upper, and Empress, and noticed no more noise on Empress than the others, even though my cabin was directly under the main showroom.
