My husband would like to know if they give engine-room tours on the Century, as he would be very interested in taking one. Anyone who knows this information, I'd appreciate a reply. Thanks!

I have not seen or heard of anyone taking an engine room tour - especially after 9/11.

That's what we suspected, but he is a Navy man and just had to see if anyone thought it was a possibility (he'll be like a kid in a candy shop not allowed to look at the candy). Thanks for your replies.

My husband felt the same way. These visits are almost unheard of these days, but it wouldn't hurt to write a letter to the Captain or the Chief Engineer telling of your background and interest. You never know, it might happen.

Thanks for the suggestion Sue, I think I'll try that...this is an Anniversary trip for us, and if I could make that happen...he'd LOVE IT!
