In January we sailed on Mariner of the Seas. Our only complaint was the cut back in entertainment in the main showroom. Obviously to save money. Each night, except one, they had a solo act only that was on for a full hour; and that was that. The exception was one night they had a "Vegas Spectacular" with excellent singers and dancers. The M.C. announced that the cast had been rehearsing this new show for 9 weeks in Miami and this was their first public performance. The choreoraphy was terrible but the show was saved somewhat by the ability of the cast members. Still a disappointment from what we saw on the Explorer last year. (The food and service was superb).
We are going on Celebrity Constellation on the Baltic sailing in June. Does anyone know if Celebrity has had a similar cut-back in their showroom performances? We hope not!!!
