It has closed.....The gov't pulled the lease and is developing it for other purposes. Had a long talk with the barback at a beachside bar at Maho Bay, told us the whole story about the newest owner and the lack of due diligence they did when they acquired the place. They were unaware that the gov't could or would pull the lease should it benefit themselves. The owners, although do not deserve what's happened to them, did not go through the process of defining what is real and what is not. Happens all the time in mexico with retirees who "think" they own the land they reside on. Company (in Mexico) declares bankruptcy and then re-incorporates as another entity, evicts you and then re-sells the land to the next sucker....
