Read that there is a health advisory (CC-Princess Roll Calls/Grand Princess) for that section of the Dominican Republic near the Haitian border for reported cases of cholera.
I just might stay on the ship at the Santo Domingo port.

Stay on the ship...it is a nasty, dirty place. The water where the ship docks is black and full of garbage. We'll never get off the ship at this port again. Ever!

The only other port that we totally disliked was Grand Turk. What a waste of time. :doubledown:

For Santo Domingo & Grand Turk, I would just as soon have had 2 extra At Sea days.

Corky.. grand Turk.. been there.. tortured Einstein.. a lesson learned.. if you get off the ship, go to the Jimmy buffets or whatever it is.. and stay there the whole day.
Anything else is a waste.

Guess we will cancel The Resort excursion. :biggrin: Or perhaps check with Shore Excursions once onboard to verify things with them. :whistle:
