Falmouth

Has anyone posted a review of the new cruise port in Falmouth? I know that this past week was the very first time it was open to cruise ships. Was anyone here on Voyager? I would love some feedback.

I haven't seen anything yet but I'm sure somebody will post something soon.

For me, a big plus is that rafting on the Martha Brae River (one of my favorites) is only five minutes away. Here's something I found.

The first ship stopped there last week (one of the Royal Caribbean Voyager-class ... don't remember which one). Apparently, it's still a constuction zone, with debris and equipment all over the place. The "reception" area and most of the other components are temporary. Even the cruise line concedes that it will be at least April until everything is up and running ... and even then, who knows; after all, it's Jamaica. What most passengers are apparently doing is either booking trips to Montego Bay or Ocho Rios, or just remaining aboard. It's still a work in progress ... very slow progress.

All up and running. Can't say it is one of my favorite terminals but it is close to Ocho Rios and Montego Bay (beware of all the sales people at the pier).
