Hmm. I saw that ship go out to sea just this past Sunday. I know the ship does not have many cabins on board. I seem to remember the partial obstruction having to do with the life boats. I think they were suspended just above the balconies (someone else might know better). As far as the room description goes, here's what I found on cruisestateroom.com for a Category 11:

(Stateromms V23, V25, V27, V34, V38 and V42 have partially obstructed views).
Average Size: 220 sq ft + balcony 30 sq ft.
