My folks just got back from the Fantasy ... the left on 10.19.03 for 4 nights ... they loved the ship ... the refurbishments look great they thought ... The colors of the rooms have changed ... the pics they have I will do my best and get them online ... but the comforters are new ... they are a grey and white stripe ...This was there first cruise and they enjoyed themselves so much they have booked another for next year the same time ... except they are going to do a back-to-back ... 4 nights was just not enough ... they could not tell me much about the stops they made as they spent most of their time on ship ... they love to people watch and really had fun ...We had seen remarks about the ages of those on Carnival and were a bit concerned as to this ... They did not notice any wild or out of control behavior ... of course going in October limited the number of youngsters on board ...The food was great ... and they were very surprised when a cake was brought to their table for their anniversary ... their waiter and his assistant sang to them along with a couple of others ...Their room steward they never saw but they know he or she had been there at least 2x a day due to the changes in the room ...I will be joining them on their next cruise and am so excited ... wish it were today ...
