My all time favorite - Jim Urry - retired. So now I am not sure....... I'll have to think about it.

Although he's now retired, my choice would be my buddy, Jeffrey Arpin. Sailing on the Voyager just isn't the same without him. :)

Clo O'Connor; Parker Christian, and Jeff Martin are three that we really found to be good. Richard Spacey on the Voyager also gets high marks. Not that keen on Gordon Whatman or Ken Rush.

Our first choice would be Paul Grayson who was on the Nordic Empress in the early to mid 90's. He got to know us since we sailed with him 3 times and it is a small ship. He had a great personality and made the cruise fun. Then we didn't find one we liked as much until the Navigator in 2003 and that was Jeffrey Arpin, he was very good, always seem to remember you from an event or what ever and would say hi etc. he was funny as well :thumb

Becky Thompson for sure and we like Gordon Whatman too.

Not too thrilled by Ken Rush. We found him very unapproachable.

Who is the current cruise director on the EOS? I know he or she may not be there in October, but I was curious.

To the best of my recollection, Matt Baker
is CD on the EN until October 15.

I think he means Explorer of the Seas, Roland, not Enchantment. Wish people would get in the habit of spellig out the ships names if they don't know the abreviations.....too many Ms, Ss and Es, so they confuse people.

Sorry about that. I did mean Explorer of the Seas. I should have spelled it out.

No problem Scott. Roland uses the two letter designations for all ships,,,,EN is Enchantment. He'll also know EX.

If you say so San. CD on the EX is presently a very nice lady named Clo O´Connor. She will sign off on October 2.
Ask Bill about her. She is a favorite of his!

Clo was CD on the Brilliance when we did New England/Canada. Roland - help, who was CD on Serenade in May? Tell you who I was very impressed with, was the first woman Staff Captain (at least that I have met) Karin Stahre Janson. Will she become the first woman Captain for Royal Caribbean?

Maybe it would be helpful if Roland would provide a list of the two letter
designations, this might alleviate confusion in both directions. :thumb
