FEED BACK ON DESTINY SHIP

We are just back from the destiny. This was our first Carnival cruise, so I can't compare to any other Carnival ships just to other lines we have crusied with.

We really enjoyed the cruise. We always book an inside cabin and we were very satisfied with the cabine we had (8320). It was much larger than the ones we had on Majesty of the Seas and NCL Pearl. About the same as on the Princess ships (Star,Caribbean and Sun).

I would say we enjoyed the food as much as on Princess and again preferrred to RCL and NCL.

We thought the decor was very nice not really over the top. The new screen on the Lido deck is just the right size for the area and even from the side easy to watch. The entertainement we saw was good.

Our cruise had at least 3 large groups on so at times a lounge or 2 would be closed for private party but I never saw it happen very late in the evening.

The crew were all very nice.

We definitely will cruise Carnival again.

Hope this helps.

Just got back from Destiny on T'giving Day. This was our 2nd cruise and other than the weather (which is not Carnival's fault) it was a very good trip. We loved our headwaiter and the food. The ship is decorated like outer space--sort of like 2001: A Space Odyssey. It's really really cool.

Here's our OV room:

I have other pictures, if you need them, let me know. The food was great, the service was great. The ship was CLEAN. I loved the Assistant Cruise Director Leslie. Entertainment was fun! One of our entertainment people didn't show--he was in Jamaica waiting to be picked up and we had to skip the port because of weather. I had NO complaints.
