Thank you for all of your insight into helping me plan this trip. I appreciate it! Hubby especially says thanks for the tip about the different colored carpet on port vs. starboard...he said that was probably the most useful piece of info that he got. (tu)
I put together a website with pictures from our vacation, and a journal of what we did. If you'd like to check it out, please feel free!

We ended up doing the Dogsledding on Mendenhall Glacier excursion in Juneau (booked it probably 3 months in advance and glad I did, because it sold out long before we left), and in Ketchikan we did the Harley-Davidson tour (not booked through the ship). They were both great excursions, and the weather was excellent for us (Thank You Lord!!!!) the entire cruise.
We booked all of our land tour on our own and saved close to $2000 by doing so, we probably would not choose to do Denali again, but now it's been checked off as one of the places we've been. So it's all good!
I was totally scared that I was going to freak out on the cruise since I have a huge phobia of boats/ships/water but I was A-Ok, and there was only a few times that I could even feel the ship moving. DH planned ahead thinking that he was probably going to get sea-sick, and brought Dramamine with him, but the water was so calm the entire time that we didn't even have to think about opening it up.
Thanks again for all your help...you really helped make our 10th anniversary celebration a lifelong memory!!
