What are the secrets (successful) to getting your own alcohol onboard? I am not trying to be cheap, it is just more "convenient", yea, thats it, "convenient" to have your OWN alcohol!

Give this ROOKIE some pointers VETERANS!!!!!

THANKS!

Simply wrap it carefully in your check in luggage and wait for it to be delivered to your cabin. Do not attempt to bring it on board in your carry on luggage.

Sorry no advice on bringing it on because I don't drink. I mean no disrespect but how is bringing on alcohol more convienent? I can understand if you just want to drink in your room but it doesn't seem convienent to me to have to go back to my room to get the alcohol for a drink. Not trying to flame you its JMHO.

On our recent Legend cruise, I packed a box of zinfandel wine in my luggage. It's a cardboard box with a plastic bag full of wine, plastic spigot tucked in until you open it. Worked well for the room. I even took the rest home safely!

We carried on 2 bottles of champagne, and although it was checked by the "confiscated items" counter, we were permitted to have it.

I've read that people empty the contents of water or soda bottles with screw caps, and carry their liquor that way. I've also read that people wrap their bottles in bubble wrap and then a towel to pack it safely.

Good luck!

I was being facetious when i said "convenient", I thought that was obvious. I did not take your remarks as "flames", it is only words. Have a GREAT day!

Just wrap the bottle of liquor in a heavy duty plastic garbage bag and pack in your checked luggage. Use a large hard side suitcase (placing the bottle right in the middle and pack your t-shirts, undies, socks, swimsuits etc around it) and you shouldn't have a problem with breakage.
