First cruise on Carnival Paradise

This was my husband and my first cruise. We did it up right though, we had a huge balcony. It was so nice to sit out there and enjoy the ocean view. Where else would someone suggest? But,with the balcony.

We we were on the Carnival Paradise. We went all out and got a room with a balcony, sitting area and a jacuzzi tub. My most favorite thing to do was to sit on the balcony and watch the porpoises and seal frolicking in the ocean.

Yesterday I found out my friend's daughter and her boy friend went on a cruise on the Carnival Paradise. What is interesting about this is that they are both under the age of 25 (both are over the age of 21). She has been on two Carnival cruises. This was his first cruise.

I wonder if the fact that she is a past guess was the reason Carnival waived the age restriction.

Has anyone taken the Mariner of the Seas? We are thinking of taking a mexican 7 day cruise. Any advice out there would be greatly appreciated!

The age restriction is that you only need a 25 year old if someone traveling is under 21. If both guests are between 21 and 25 there is no restriction.

The only time Carnival waives the age restriction is for married couples...and yes...you have to bring your marriage certificate or you will be denied boarding

I have. I was on the Mariner of the Seas in June 2009. However, you should ask this question on the Royal Caribbean board. This is the Carnival board.

People kept saying that. Well, I had a balcony on my third, fourth, fifth, sixth & seventh cruises, yet I had an ocean view on my eight, tenth, eleventh cruises and I had an inside on my thirteenth cruise. So I know of at least one person that this statement does not apply to.
