First Post. Anybody know about UniWorld Cruise Lines?

My bride and I are looking to do a river cruise down the Nile in 2022 or 2023. We are looking Uniworld Cruise Line and Viking Cruise Lines. We have sailed on Viking many years ago and were very happy. The Uniworld boat is brand new and only takes 85 people and we know nothing about them.

Any help?

First off We have sailed on Viking many years ago and were very happy Viking hasn't changed don't re invent the wheel unless it has more spokes. You have been on Viking and were happy cruisers. You are talking about a cruise a year or more in the future, you have plenty of time to do your homework. Since your last Viking cruise was enjoyable start there the go to the other brand and compare. First Viking has many many boats cruising Europe, the Med and around the world, not to diminish this Uniworld brand but lets face it Viking is a premium product in what the do and they do it well with a solid history. Not familiar with Uniworld so can not really comment on the good bad or the ugly in comparing them to Viking.
Homework, Homework, Homework then make an intelligent best guess decision.

With more research we found a Nile cruise that fit us. 12 days sailing the Nile on the brand new Uniworld ship The Sphinx. The Sphinx hold 84 guest and a crew of 60. We leave in Jan 2022 and after the cruise we will spend some time in Jerusalem.

The cruise line added a vaccine mandate a few months before our Jan 2022 sailing date so the wife and I postpone out trip. The vaccine mandates are gone and we leave Feb. 1st 2023.

In 2017 we did the UniWorld Vietnam/Cambodia cruise and liked them a lot. We found them a bit better than Viking's river cruises. I suspect you will enjoy them.
