1. Yes this is only during dinner, but do not forget that they don't allow bathing attire such as swimsuits and bikini's in the dining room at breakfast, lunch, or dinner.2. This is very controversial, during formal night absolutely not. On the other nights you could probably get away with it if it's stylish but you may get some frowns from fellow passengers.3. That would be the best idea! You should definitely bring a backpack to store towels, a change of clothes, and bottles of water for when it gets really hot out.4. Yes Carnival does a great job with delivering these to your staterooms the night before a port stop. If you didn't get one they are available at either the shopping info desk, the pursers desk, and are usually available at the gangway before you get off the ship at a port.As far as eating goes, I can't comment because I always make it a point to get back to the ship to eat my food because it's all free there!
