Re: First-timer going on a 20s and 30s singles cruise. What to expect? Tips and advic
well.... to begin with, what ship? , because just because you were booked on a singles cruise does not necessarily mean you will only be cruising with other singles. Is the cruise ship chartered for the event?? or was the cruise simply booked as a group event?? If it was chartered then you stand the risk of being in the midst ofa sausagefest... meaning that other amourous guys like yourself will be sitting around drinking and wondering why you booked a singles cruise.... if it issimply booked on a ship as a group then you will have better luck and will have a better time.
I understand your reason for booking a singles cruise, but seriously... you don't have to participate if you would rather just enjoy the cruise. If you want to meet a nice lady i would suggest you dress well, and definitely dress for formal night and sit at a large table. the MDR is always a great place to meet people, and perhaps you'll find a lady who has similar interests as you.
You can also hit the bars on the ship... and if they have one a disco or dance floor.... royal carribean has a pretty decent night club / disco. Ladies love to dance... so you might have luck finding one there....
And last but not least.... you can always buy one when in certain ports.. although they're a little difficult to sneak past customs nowadays...
