YOu will see long gowns, cocktail dresses and church type dresses.The majority is long and cocktail length dresses. Typically the first formal night is more formal meaning if you have a long dress and a short dress I would wear the long dress for the first formal night. The sleeveless dress would be fine in the dining room but you may want some type of shawl of sweater in case you get cold with the air conditioning.My husband does the same as Babuska's, brings one black suit, one shirt and 2 ties. We sent the shirt out to be cleaned.
