My wife and I are going on the 11 day heart of alaska cruise on Princess cruise lines in may. I wanted to know which place is the best to go flightseeing. They all sound wonderful, but will have funds for flightseeing in just one port. thanks

I'd recommend the Glacier Bay tour offered by Skagway Air Service - best value for money spent...
Of course, I happen to be one of the pilots.. so you might expect me to endorse the tour, but, weather permitting, we go further and see more that the helicopters and it costs less.
It's a 1 1/2 hour flight over the most spectular scenery you can imagine..
Of course, weather can be a problem so I can't guarantee that we can get into the Bay... but we usually find some exciting places to go if the bay is shut down..
There is also a 45 minute tour up the Chilkoot trail for a bit less... but still plenty of greay photo ops..

I meant to say 'great photo ops''
but with the typical Southeast Alaska weather, it could be 'gray photo ops' ..

In Ketchikan I would suggest Familyairtours.com for the Misty Fjords. :thumb
