How do they serve breakfast and lunch on the Dawn? Do they offer midnight buffets everynight? How much does alcohol and soft drinks tend to cost?

Thanks

There is the breakfast buffet in the Garden room. They also serve it I think in one of the restaurants. Drinks were about 4.25-5.00 for wine and 6.50 for a fancy drink (dont buy the drink in the souvenier glass because they charge more). There is no midnight buffet, they have a chocolate buffet one afternoon. You can go to the Blue Lagoon which is open 24 hours for something to eat (altho i did not think the food there was very appetizing)., The poolside barbecues are scrumptuous. Do not miss them.

I have not been on the Dawn yet, but I did read some daily newsletters from a Dawn cruise and they did seem to offer midnight buffets at that time (I think it was early this year?) -- in the Pearly Kings Pub or the casino mainly. I believe the chocolate buffet was at midnight in the casino about mid-way through the trip. I figured midnight buffets were a staple on all major lines. I'm REALLY looking forward to the chocolate one!!:p

The chocolate buffet was at 2 p.m. on a wed. or thurs. There is no midnight buffet. They have some little finger sandwiches in the casino but that's about it. You have to go to the Blue Lagoon if you want something late at night, or room service (very limited menu).

Fuzzlekins,

Did you access the daily newletters online? If so where?

Maltesemom is right. I just went back and double checked -- it does say "Late Night Snacks" at midnight -- I guess I automatically assumed that was the "midnight buffet." And I did find the Chocoholics Buffet in the middle of the day -- on a port day too! You'd think they'd at least do it on a sea day or later in the evening. Oh well, anyway, here is the link where I found the newletters (just for one cruise) ... http://www.cruisingreview.com. I found this site/review to be very helpful.
