I think if you limit yourself to eating only on the ship, you're missing out on a BIG part of why we travel in the first place - to experience local customs and cuisine.As Cruise Cutie suggested, bring along some Imodium in case something doesnt agree with you, but be adventurous!We've been to a local market in Cuba, made our purchases of fresh meat (NOT for the faint of heart - refridgeration??? ya, right...) and veg, and had probably the best meal I've ever had at a buddy's house. No problems at all.Toured San Juan with another group who insisted on Denny's. We took a pass and found a great local place where we had a great meal.As has been suggested, make sure the food is completely cooked, you should be fine!You didn't go all that way to eat at Denny's!
