Hubby and I just hit the big 50. We leave on the Conquest 10-26. I went a little crazy buying fancy evening wear and now think I made a big mistake. HELP!!! Does anyone
ever go formal every night. The husband loves to wear his Tux but I'm afraid it may be
a bit tooooo much. He says as long as we enjoy dressing up we should'nt worry but
I don't want us to look out of place. Please reply with some constructive opinions.

Thanks
Kim

P.S. We're in cabin 7278, cat. 11. If anyone out there is around our age and in the
vicinity of our cabin please let us know. It would be nice to get to know our shipmates.

Your husband is right wear your formal wear if that is what you like. There will not be many dressed up ever night for dinner but you will see a person here and there all dressed up. I wouldn't worry about what the others think

There is nothing wrong with drissing up every night if you enjoy it.

Agree with PEB -- if you enjoy dressing up, DO IT! This cruise is to enjoy yourselves -- not to worry about what other people do to enjoy it. I've noticed a number of folks dressed up several nights and they seem to be really having fun. So go and have a wonderful time - dress to the nines!

I agree with the previous posters. I tend to dress up a little more than most do. I think that it is part of the fun. Happy belated birthday to you both. Have a great time on your cruise. Take care, Shannon

I agree with the others! There will be people all dressed up every night of the cruise. (You might have a problem the first night...depending on when your bags get to your cabin)..But, if your clothes are there...go for it!

I have a friend who LOVES to get all dressed up in his tux and he says that's one of the reasons he loves to cruise. It gives him a chance to dress to the nines!

Enjoy...you'll get many compliments as you're walking around the ship!

Bon Voyage!

Dress as you like, kiddo!

I live in extremely rural South Mississippi, and look forward to dressing for dinner each night on our cruises. (My husband only wears a suit on formal nights, but I enjoy "wowing" him.)

Enjoy yourselves and be comfortable.

When i went on fascination over the summer, my friend and i dressed up more than most others on the casual nights. we just wanted to because dressing up is fun. and people would always stop us and say how beautiful we looked, but we never once felt out of place.

On our first cruise on the Celebration several years ago, one of our tablemates wore a cocktail dress to dinner every night. She always looked lovely. I am taking a dressy cocktail dress to wear on Thanksgiving on our next cruise. I say - go for it.
