We rented a golf cart and took a tour around the island. Our teen boys loved it....so maybe your daughter and her friend will too. There were different places on the way into town to rent the carts...seemed like someone told us to not rent at the first place as it was more expensive but that was several years ago. Sorry I can't be of help on the formal night.
