Forward Cabin

I am booked in a forward cabin (facing the bow) on the Glory. I know the Conquest is the same configuration as the Glory and was wondering if anyone has cruised in the type of cabin. It is a cat. 6B with a round window facing the bow on the upper deck. My main concern is motion. The second concern is that the deck in front of the window is a public area. I know they can't see in during the day but what about at night? I would hate to have to close the curtins.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated because I do not have much time to try and change the location of the cabin.

Thank you.

I sailed on Conquest in a forwaard cabin on the 11th deck in March. I generally have not liked forward cabins in the past, but wanted to try one of the family cabins which all forward on the 11th deck. We LOVED the laction and the cabin. We did not notice any more bounce/movement in out cabin than anywhere else on the ship. I would not hesitate to book a forward cabin on this class of ship.

Thanks Sunshine...one more question....did you have a public deck in front of your cabin?

No, there was nothing in front of the cabin, just a gorgeous view of the open sea :)
