OK. Yes I know I am not supposed to be working on vacations but reality is I must. That being said, I have read a few posts where people onboard and while still docked in Miami and even though should still be "connected" to their provider, the ship "takes over" the feed and you don't even know it until you get home and find a whopping invoice. I have read this only about actual cell calls. Is this true? Shouldn't your cell phone screen tell you who your are connecting to? On another note, how does it work with Blackberry's and incoming emails? I travel to Florida quite a bit (I am from Canada) and whenever I get an email, I am able to view it. As long as I don't open any attachments or reply back, or send any emails, I don't get charges just for the view of the incoming email. How would this work on board? Again, I am not worried about the ports it is the ships system I am concerned about.
Thanks....James
