hi james,

the questions i can answer are: yes, there are private shuttles to the port or your hotel. others from one of our past cruises did exacting that. sorry, i don't know the name of the shuttle company.

there are several hotels near the port. several in our past cruises have used the radison, the econolodge, wakulla suites and a few others. the radison is the only one i know of that offers a free shuttle to the port if you stay with them before and after your cruise. the rest do offer shuttle service to the port via private contractor(price may very from $10 to $20 per person). your t/a should be able to locate the info you need. if you haven't been using one, find one that specializes in cruising. we found out on our last cruise (december mos) how valuable a savy t/a could be. our previous aaa afiliated agency on the west coast of florida had too many irons in the fire to pay attention to the cruise industry and keep a sharp eye out for our benefit. we now use a specialist agency in satellite beach and have not looked back.
