Freedom of the seas dock time...

Are you asking what time the ship pulls in to the port? Or when it normally clears and is ready for disembarkment?

Many of the ships sit just a little bit out from Miami on the last night of the cruise. Then they are brought in sometime in the early morning hrs where they start unloading. The ship goes through clearance with customs and it's about 7:00am before they start allowing passengers off.

I thought your question may have delt with disembarkment time.

Were booked on Freedom of the Sea's Nov. 25th on Western Carribean cruise. Is it better to wait and board the ship later in the day. Do you beat the crowd that way?

We were in port by 5:am, they offer an express disembarkment if you choose to carry your luggage off, that starts at 6:15 am. This is great if you have an early flight or just choose to avoid the rush. We were off the ship, through customs, at the airport, through security and at our gate at 7:30 am. As far as getting on board...we left our hotel at noon and were on board by 2:00.

No, I was wondering on the day we board the ship if it would be wiser to wait till about 3:00 PM to board the ship. I have heard there is mobs of people starting as early as 10:00 AM lining up to get on the ship.

oh don't wait. How could you wait. Let your vacation begin. They are very organized and boarding goes quick, I can't wait to get on the ship and explore. Have a nice buffett lunch, pina colada on deck, make all spa areservations early ( they fill up fast) Our family likes to board around one o'clock.
