I've heard the FOS has BOTH wireless and dial up accessibility in their staterooms. Can anyone confirm this. For the work I need to do when we cruise starting Sunday - it will be much less expensive for me to pay the one week charge for the in stateroom dial-up than buy the wireless minutes.

Yes - I've checked with RCCL a couple of times, and I've gotten different answers.

Thank you!

In case anyone is interested in knowing - Freedom class has only wireless in the staterooms - now dial up. Radiance class and and Voyager class has dialup on the staterooms, but has many hot spots for wireless around their ships. Because I usually use my laptop a lot on the ships when were travel - it is considerable less expensive on the ships that have the dial-up as you pay one price for the cruise and can use as much as you like. Also - I like to work in the early mornings and late at night - and the dial up allows you to do it from the stateroom which is a real convenience.

Because I'm a consultant and if I work a couple of hours (when it's cloudy or I wake up early ...... or I'm ready for dinner before it's our time ----- I can work for awhile and earn money for our next cruisel. I call it my little office in the Caribbean.
