I have been all over the net looking...and I can find tons of stuff in Nassau but not freeport. The only thing I can find is Lucaya Cay which i bet is awful crowded since that is the only thing this port offers.,

Any suggestions?

Serene56, I've been looking for things to do in Freeport also. I'm going on my first cruise in October of this year. Depending on what you're interested in there is a Botanical Garden in Freeport, Garden of the Groves. Not sure if that helps at all or even if it's what you're lopoking for but thought I would pass that along.

I'm not sure about the crowds at Lucaya, but it is a very lovely area. Also has a marketplace. There are a couple restaurants we enjoyed on a trip to Freeport: Stoned Crab @ Taino Beach (maybe you could do lunch & hang on the beach?) Also, the Poop Deck is a good restaurant. (There are 2 Poop Decks...one is called "Poopdeck @ Sandyport...that's the one we went to...its right on a beach). There is a nice casino @ Crowne Plaza. I think in that area, they also have dune buggy/jeep rentals....you should try to book in advance though because they sell out. Driving is on the left tho---could be tricky.

I have spent a couple weeks at various times in Freeport. All we ever did was beach, casino & eat....there must not be much else there or we would have done it !

If you decide to do the Dolphin Swim in Freeport, you might want to book early. It sold out almost 2 months in advance on the cruise I booked. :)

Last time we were there (8 years ago), we took a cab to Garden of the Groves. It is just lovely! We are scheduled to return in November and not sure what we will do. Shopping, beach, snorkeling seem to be the focus at this port. Since the ship docks in an industrial area, 'ya gotta find transportation to any of the tourist areas (cabs are abundant). Just a tip; if 'ya want a free island tour, find a local realtor. They seem to be happy to show you around!

$5 taxi per person to Port Lucaya. Lots of shopping and you can walk to the beach which has sand like powdered sugar and you can use hotel loungers and pools free.
