First time cruiser here. I tried to perform a search to find the answer to this post, it didn't work, so I apologize if this is a newbie faux pas.

I'm confused about Freestyle Cruising, specifically the dining "cover charges". Is the cover charge the only charge to eat in these restaurants or do you have to pay a cover charge and pay for your meal.
