Re: Your aunt Connie
I found out she is in the Hosp. has been since Sun. Has 2 really bad infections. one is ecoli and the other they are not sure of. her kidneys are not working so she is trying to get better. My dad said he was going to try to call her again bc he hasn't heard from her in a few days. Will you pass along the info please. I;ve had a few emails.

It's suggested that since Connie's relatives are dealing with this, we can stop trying to contact different people.

Thanks for posting Mary Ann. I wasn't sure when the C@ gremlins would let us have access. Prayers that Connie recovers quickly. Gees, Simon won't talk to her for a week after this second AWOL!

You're welcome, Glo. I couldn't access C@ for awhile either.

I hope poor Connie pulls through this crisis.

Glo is the one to thank - I merely posted the message she received from Connie's Niece.

Connie desperately needs our prayers.....

S&M, a friend of ours had issues with e-coli a couple of months ago and they never did figure out how he contracted it. Scary stuff. Good thoughts and wishes for Connie.

With the health issues she already had & now to have to deal with ecoli is really tough; sounds like she needs all of us to double up on the prayers. Wishing her the best as she fights this battle.

E-coli can be passed on by food, water, animals and other humans. But it is largely food borne. Food that can pass it on include:

  • Venison
  • Sausages
  • Dried (non-cooked) salami
  • Unpasteurized milk and cheese
  • Unpasteurized apple juice and cider
  • Alfalfa, parsley, and radish sprouts
  • Lettuce, cabbage, and spinach
  • Fruit nuts and berries
  • Cookie dough
Lots more info on the net.
