The first time we were on the Golden, we were in L247. Smaller balcony up front, but the location was great! Can't comment on being up front on the Caribe deck, other than judging by the deckplan, they look to be even with the side of the ship, meaning they aren't sticking out to catch the wind. We've been at the opposite end C742, same side and loved it! Take a look at the deck plans and compare the Caribe to the Dolphin decks. You'll see what I mean.They aren't totally exposed balconies. I prefer it that way myself. Can have sun and shade at times! The balconies are about 9x9. Furniture varies, sometimes regular chairs, sometimes chairs w/ footrests, occasionally see a chaise lounge out there. The Golden is my favorite ship. Hope you have an awesome time!
