Galaxy 1206....good cabin?

Hi.
I am about to book and have ben offered cabin 1206 on Sky deck or a number of others on penthouse deck. Any one have any advice to offer? I know there is a golf simulator above Sky deck would this cause any noise etc. Any info from you knowledgable lot out there would be much appreciated. Judy

I think 1206 is a great cabin. The Galaxy sky suites have huge balconies, which
we enjoy. The only drawback isn't the golf simulator. It is the jogging track that surrounds it. If you are late risers, you might have some early morning runners to deal with. The PH deck suites do not have this problem, but the
balconies for these cabins are 1/3 the size of those on deck 12. Given the pros
and cons, I'd go for deck 12.

Our family was in 1222 and 1218 last December and they are terrific suites with fantastic balconies. on Sky Deck. I have some photos here.

Judy did you see the picture of the balcony for 1210? It is actually larger than the "above" shot because of the typical overhangs pictured here and here.

I guarantee you will be thrilled to have your butler serve you the special suite room service breakfast out on your balcony complete with white linen tablecloth. Believe me, I was just thrilled to have my 2 cups of capuccino delivered every morning at 8 a.m.=COOL

Our experience is on Galaxy's sister ship Mercury. As deck plans of the Sky Deck (Deck 12) show, size and shapes of the Sky Suite balconies vary. I believe that there are three basic configurations following the shape of Deck 11. We had booked 1210 but changed to 1221 because the balcony was significantly larger. I feel sure that we would have been satisfied with 1210, but since 1221 became available, I made change.

We didn't have any problem with noise from the golf simulator or any other source.
