Hi!

Thought this was going to be a deserted ship! Have you sailed her before?

Any good or bad things you've heard? Do you know how early we can board?

Guess I'll shut up now and give you time to respond!!!

Hi! This is our first time on Celebrity! We have cruised Carnival and RC previously. My husband and I are 30 & 31 years old. (i am the older one!) haha We just booked last week. We loved the itinerary. We have been to most Caribbean islands, except for these! Well, we've been to St. Thomas, so that's the only repeater, but that's ok. That was actually where we honeymooned so it will be nice to go back. Plus this time we ARE GOING TO FIND Creeque Alley no matter what. I don't know how early we can board. We are from NY. Where are you from? Tell me your story!!

Hi again,

We seem to be communicating at two different areas, here and on the message board. No problem though, doing this helps me deal with the wait!!

Only joking about the "older people" thing, I am older than my wife (by 7 months), and she never let's me forget it!

It is a small world. My wife and I are originally from New York. We now live in New Jersey. We don't know our flight times yet since we just booked a package deal last week. On the EOS we had a balcony cabin. On the Majesty, we had an inside. This trip we have an outside.

I try not to be influenced by the reviews I read because all opinions are just that, opinions. I try to look for the best and be objective. When we first used these boards before sailing on Royal for the first time, I met several fellow passengers "on-line".
We all decided to meet in the Crows Nest lounge at a certain time to meet in person.
To identify ourselves, we all wore several colored rubber bands on our wrists. It worked!! We even called ourselves the "rubber band group". It was nice meeting people we had communicated with for a while.

Well, I don't type well and my TWO fingers are getting tired!!!

See ya!!

I think I was confused because you were writing under 2 different names?

Anyways, it sure is a small world! Where in NY were you from? We are originally from Kingston, NY but we now live in Endicott, NY - near Binghamton. We lived in Kingston for most of our lives and have lived in Endicott for the past 5 years. It would be great if we could meet up! We don't know any of our flight times yet either. I can't wait until the cruise! Have you been to any of the ports before?

Hi,
My husband and I and brother-in-law and sister-in-law are on this cruise. Our first with Celebrity last year was NCL. We are always looking for people who like to share cabs or min-vans and go to great beaches for the afternoon or see the island on our own. That saves some money and it is nice to travel in a group. We all live in Butler PA (north of Pittsburgh PA) Anyone one else on this cruise? Leslie and Jim

PA; NY; NJ....this is shaping up to be a real north east gathering!!

The only island on this itenerary we have visited is St. Thomas. We did some shopping there, but did not really see much of the island. We did take the tram ride and that was nice.

Yes, we should at least meet one another. All we have to do is agree on a time and place, find a way to identify ourselves and that's it. Any suggestions?

Hi Leslie and Jim, Phil and Jean here,

I hope you read my last post and will join the couple from New York and get to meet each other.

I kind of like your idea of going as a group "off the beaten path". Sometimes the tours are to regimented to really "see" the islands. Let's meet and talk about it.

Hey guys,

Go over to 'cruisecritic.com'. On the boards you have the option of joining a party given by the cruise line. They need 25 people to have the party and Jean and I are the 21st and 22nd to sign up. Snacks and soft drinks are served, and a cash bar is available.

This looks like a good way to meet people from these boards. The cruise line will send an invitation to your cabin once you board telling you time and place.

Leslie, Jim, Danielle, Lee, what do you think??

Hi,

Are any of you guys flying into San Juan a day early or are you all coming in the same day as the cruise? This year we decided for the first time to fly in a day early we will be in San Juan on Thursday by 1:30 in the afternoon. We were thinking of touring Old San Juan on Friday afternoon before we boarded the ship but now we are so excited to get on the ship we have decided to check out of our hotel and go right to the ship. We read on a cruisecritic.com post that you can actually board around 12 or 12:30 Friday afternoon. Can't wait to leave all this snow and cold weather behind!!! Hey you guys, Is this your first cruise or have you guys been on others? This is our second cruise last year we were on the NCL SKY and loved it. Leslie and Jim

Hi Leslie and Jim,

We can hardly wait!! This will be the third cruise for my wife Jean and myself. We have been on RCCL's Explorer of the Seas and Majesty of the Seas. Many years ago I was on NCL's Seaward.

I don't know when we arrive in San Juan. We booked a package kind of last minute and don't know our flight times yet. If our flight is early and boarding is as early as you say, it's like having an extra day of vacation!

Hopefully the cruisecritic party will take place. I guess we will meet there and can discuss other plans at that time.

16 DAYS AND COUNTING!!!!
