Is the first meal on the ship lunch when you board or dinner seatings?

If it is lunch, is it in the dining room or at the pool or a buffet?

Can you actually get on the ship by 1pm... most posts I've read say it will be 1:30-1:45 at the earliest when embarking in Baltimore on Galaxy?

I just got back from the Galaxy. I arrived in Baltimore about 1:15. The earliest boarding was at 2. The first meal offerred was a buffet lunch in the Oasis Cafe on deck 11.
