We have been on both. We were on the Celebration and Inspiration out of New Orleans before Galveston was a port and the Jubilee and the Elation out of Galveston. We just returned from the Elation last Sunday, Nov. 30. We enjoyed the ports on both. But because we have done the same ports twice out of New Orelans, we were glad to have some different ports out of Galveston. We did not care for Jamaica but loved Grand Cayman and Cozumel. We also enjoyed Progreso and Belize and, of course, Cozumel again on our last cruise. I understand the Conquest out of New Orleans is a beautiful mega ship. I think either cruise would be fun for a single male. Our son, a 23 year old Marine went with us over Thanksgiving and had a great time.
